3 Month Blog Check-In

Well I’ve been at it for about 3 months and its time to do a blog check in.  My goal has been to write two posts a week.  I post one at the beginning of the week and the other  mid week.  Since I’ve been at it for a few months, I’ve been thinking a lot about content.  The idea is really to blog about what I am really passionate about.  And you guessed it, its food.  I love everything about it.  I’m always thinking of different meals I’d like to make or things I’d like to try.  I started off adding in posts about crafting.  Which I try to do, but I’m not very good at it.  So I’ve decided to not write any more posts pertaining to crafting.  I’ll leave that to the die hard crafters.  Instead I’m expanding further into food.  I want to also write about the various food products I really like.  My goal is to eat meals at home Sunday through Friday.  To do so, I use some convenience items.  With that in mind, you’ll notice that I’ve revised my categories.  I really like the changes.  I added an “other topics” catagory, since I may want to talk about other things from time to time.  Other topics will only be from time to time, since the focus of the blog is really my love of food and various topics associated with food.

Over the next 3 months my focus will continue to be content.   My goal is to post twice a week.  I plan on also working on taking, editing, and posting better photos.  At the 6 month mark I’ll do another check in and set my next 3 month goal.  I’m taking it one step at a time.  They say its not the destination but the journey.  I look at this as a journey that I’m sharing and I hope others will enjoy it with me.
